Whether you're tracking hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, floods, wildfires, tornados, winter storms, or manually processed hazards like marine incidents and droughts, you'll receive continuous updates automatically generated from verified sources. When official data isn't available, Pacific Disaster Center's expert team manually updates information within minimal delay, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Customize your experience by setting alert preferences based on your geographic location and hazard severity level. The interactive map interface makes it easy to visualize active hazards across the globe, with the option to view estimated impact reports and modeled hazard data for any event. Choose from customizable background maps and enable overlay layers showing population densities, cloud coverage, and other contextual information to better understand potential risk areas. Simply select a hazard on the map and use the "More Info" link to access detailed Hazard Brief information.

Multi-language support allows you to login and register in your preferred language, breaking down barriers for international users. The refreshed PDC theme integrates DisasterAWARE branding, colors, and iconography throughout the app, while alternative themes remain available in User Preferences. You can access Disaster Alert as a registered user with full customization options or continue as a guest without creating an account.
